Notes:
**JT White - This is BF White's Nephew, Jesse Tom White, son of Robert
White Jr, BF's brother.
***DP White - This is BF White's son David Patillo White.
BF White was the teacher and mentor of many of the composers whose songs
are included in the Sacred Harp.
From the book "White Spirituals in the Southern Uplands", by George
Pullen Jackson, we learn that BF White was very humble and modest and wrote and
assisted on many songs with others, he would allow others to take credits
for there composition. I suppose a good musician might detect this
in the Sacred Harp book.
