Nora "Lorene" White Haynes:

Lorene White owned an apartment in Lubbock, Texas but wanted to move, so when Noel Johnson
(Johnora's husband) saw an ad in the paper for a hotel for sale in Graham, Texas, she moved.
She moved in 1976 and within a year, 13 families moved to Graham, Texas to be near her. Clifford
White came to stay weeks at a time with Lorene and went fishing with Bob. They had 10 acres
with a double wide that she lived in later, then when her health was failing, she needed to move to
town. She sold the hotel before she died and since then it has been torn down and a highway runs
through it. Johnora and her brother Jay Tyson Hayes inherited the 10 acres and have it rented out
now.

Lorene was sick with Leukemia for a year total before she died. The last 4-6 months she got real
sick and she didn't want to go through all the major treatments.

John Vestal Haynes served in the military (BKR2 U.S. Navy - World War II). He was buried in
