'Philadelphia Wagon Road'
Also called 'The Great Valley Road, the Indians
called it, 'The Great Warrior Path'.

(Runs through Roanoke VA,  which use to be called Big Lick, Robert White's birth place)

Was officially opened to settlers, after 1744, controlled by Indians, and respected by the 
British government until that time, however, was used by settlers just the same...  The 
primary migration path, until 1744 was 'The Fall Line Road'.
