Sion & Susan (White) Murphy III are
buried
on land that is part of the original land grant
of 485 acres in Union County SC, to Sarah's Husband,
Simon, in 1773 from George III, King of Great Britain,
France and Ireland. The Land is located on the South Side
of the Tyger River in Berkley County in the forks between the
Broad River and Saluda River. The land, for which the grave site
lies today, is owned by Murphy descendant, R. D. Murphy
