there is NO KNOWN Connection to this White, he had arrived in Texas
way before our White's, it's just a coincidence.

and his father's lands, which encluded land from 3 surveys', Moore, Herring and Hale's.

This map shows John's 320 Acres in relation to town of old Boston, Wm White's lands,
Samuel D Bobo's land, and his father's lands, which would be made up of 3 survey's ,
J C Moore, Anne Hale, and J S Herrings, about 1, 842 acres, and not including
land he may have purchased and we may not have a record of, it was said
Elias White once owned over 2000 acres, we are lucky to have this knowledge.
This amount of land would have taken up most of the Herring, Moore & Hale
surveys in the area, Elias was living. It appears Herrings Crk ran across his land,
and very close to Elliott [Nettles] Creek, where the Creed Cemetery is located.
