Living next door to J W Cooper is a ROBERT WYATTE - this might be Robert White Jr who moved to Sptg. 1818, suspect his last name is misspelled, may be wrong on this, but listing it for now.

NOTE: 
Robt White was a life long friend of J W Cooper, married his sister Mary, and lived near or next door to him most of JW's life. Robert Jr., had several plantations, and most likely lived between them. This is mentioned in one of the Murphy letters. 
This Census shows 4 boys, Robt Jr in 1820 had 3 females, and one male???  So may not be ours, but census takers made many mistakes.

I have gone through Spartanburg & Union Co. Census Records, for this year and there are 'NO ROBERT WHITE'S' to be found.

Note:
In 1860 a Sally White was living with the Coggins, the age matches perfectly that of Wm White's oldest daughter, Sarah (Sally), I suspect, when her Brother Samuel, whom she was living with in 1860, left the area sometime between 1860 & 1870, that Sally elected to remain.  This Susan married a Felston, may be Sarah's sister, Susan White, but maybe not, Sally may have been boarding.  

1880 Spartanburg Co SC Census 

NOTE:
Robert Jr., died 17 Feb. 1880, before the census was completed, I had searched the census in; Glenn Springs Twp, Fairforest Twp, Cross Anchor, Sptg. Twp ED Dist 149, and have not found Robert or Susan.  She died 1882, but at her advanced age, is probably gone to live with another family member, or in someone's care.
