Be it remembered that I Susanna Murphy of South Carolina Union District considering the inner
sanity of this mortal life do make and publish this my last will and testament that is to say It is my desire that at my decease my Estate be subject in every respect to the provisions of the law relative to the Estate of person dying
in testate expect that my grandson J. L. B. Jackson be not entitled to any part there of in witness whereof I have here unto set my had and seal this twenty ninth day of December in the year of our lord one thousand eight hundred forty nine.

Susannah Murphy sign seal publish pronounce
and declair this same to be her last will & testament
and the said Susanna Murphy was them of sound
and disposing mind memory and understanding
tot he best of this _____ knowledge belief
and that Jason Greer and Robert Boatman
witnessed the Execution and that they all signed
their names thereto as Witnesses in the presents of
the testator and at her request and in the presents
of each other given under my hand the 6th
