Abner McDowell "Mac" Osborn

Body of A.M Osborne railroad conductor who was killed in an accident on the Northern Pacific Railroad was brought to Silver Plume on Saturday; the funeral was from the home of his sister, Mrs. H. Roberts, under the auspices of the Knights of Pythias; conductors McLaughlin and Sullivan of the North Pacific and conductor Clark, of the Julesburg Shortline and conductors Ingling and Griner of the Colorado and Denver pacific attended

According to my cousin in AR, there is a Andrew J Osborne, buried in the Mc Alister Cemetery, just out of Dover, AR. Death date is Jan. 18, 1883. She looked for a death certificate, but could not find one for him.
