Robert Grady married Geneva Gates, He passed away on 10 Feb 1957 in New Orleans, Orleans, Louisiana, USA. http://records.ancestry.com/Robert_Grady_White_records.ashx?pid=20386674" ====================================================== COULD Geneva BE A 2ND WIFE OF ROBERT??? . after Bessie Hill? This would certainly explain, why Robert wasn't

Robert E White Born: 28 Feb 1825 Spartanburg Co SC Died: abt 1885 MS ============== Descrepancies: ============== 1. SC Bible Records show "Robert E White born 28 Feb 1825." 2. The 1850 census shows him as 17 years old? 3. Recorded in the Minutes of his church as being baptized in 1845, if the census is correct, then he was 12 years old, in 1845?, that goes against Church rules, normally, you were baptized at 20 or 21, or as an adult, at this time. 4. So, I believe Robt III was 20 years old in 1845, and the census, was incorrect, on his age, my bet is with the South Carolina bible records. 5. as a comparison, all of his siblings were received and dismissed and baptized as adults, not children. ***********End Descrepancies*********** ================================== Minutes of the Cedar Springs Baptist Church Spartanburg Co SC:

received and dismissed the same day was probably to satisfy his father's
request, Note: Judging by the 1850 census,
Robert's son Robert E was only 17 yrs old. Usually, a person |
