            Husband of Martha Ann [White] Alford. They had 5 known children;
            Mary, Sarah, Martha, John, William, Ida.  L R, is a pioneer of Texas,
            his family arrived in Spanish Bluff in 1832, he moved to Old Boston
            in Bowie Co, in 1853, after the death of his parents, and married,
            Elias White's daughter, Martha about 1855, in Bowie Co TX.  Leroy
            was born in Bains West Feliciana LA. Parents  are unknown.

It is believed that the "Infant Bonham" buried at this cemetery is the infant
            child of Annias S & Mary Jane [Alford] Bonham, both grand parents of the
            infant are buried here, the infant could be in plots 6 or 7, next to the Alford's.
            The parents of the would be, Infant, Annis & Mary are buried at the Center
            Ridge Cemetery in Maud Bowie County Texas.

           a Laura, he is buried at the Redwater Cemetery, Frances and Hester
           had 5 known children; James, Grace, Louis, Marion, Elizabeth.

            "Erected to the memory of my beloved brother by his sister Mrs. T. W. Marshall." There
            are no Coates found in the Bowie Co Census from 1850-1880. T W Marshall is found on
            the 1880 census, precinct #2, family 178, wife's name is Emer, 24 years old, born LA.
            This is a large grave marker that is surrounded by a gate type of fence, to the right of (17).
            Ethan's sister is Emily Frances "Emer" Coates Marshall. Ethan is the son of John Lamar &
            Martha [Winham] Coates, see his memorial for more details. (updated Sep 12, 2013)

             Daughter of John G & Mary [Whitus] White, John the son of Elias & Anne [Gibbs] White.
             After the death of J A, he married Cornelia (Clara) Shaver. Thomas was the son of
             William Jackson & Martha M [McGee] Collins, of Bowie Co TX.  Clara Shaver was
             the daughter of James P & Louvenia Ann [Letcher] Shaver of Maud Texas. Josephine
             and Thomas has 2 children; Susan & Doney.

19. Minnie Alvin Holmes  born 15 Feb 1881 died 17 Dec 1881.                                                 FindAGrave Link
             She was the daughter of Bryant Holmes Jr & Amanda Dialthia [McAdams] Holmes,
             and a sister to Sarah McWhirter. John B McWhirter 244 acres joined the White place
             on the north side. There is a Holmes Cemetery west of Nash on the Holmes place,
             don't know why this child was buried here.

             Born in SC, grand daughter of Robert Sr & Milly [Whitehead] White, of Union Co SC.
             After Charles Y Tapp's death, she married Wm F Smith. Having children with both. Two
             of the Children, William Lewis, and Jennie Tapp, lived long and rewarding lives, Jennie
             was the last of this Tapp family, she and Wm are buried together at Read Hill Cemetery.

             Infant George was the daughter of Cora L [Bonham] & William W George. 
             Cora George was the grand daughter of Annias S & Mary Jane [Alford] Bonham,
             Mary Jane was the daughter of Leroy and Martha [White] Alford, Martha the daughter
             of Elias and Anne [Gibbs] White, of Redwater TX. Baby George was the grand baby of
             Leory & Martha White Alford, who are also buried at this cemetery. Infant Babies parents
             W W & Cora, married Feb 23, 1902, in Bowie County Texas. Which makes it apparent the
             Baby George, died on or about the grave stone date. 1910 Census shows W W George living
             next door to his parents, Elias and Martha George, on the other side of him, Doak Nettles.
