Inez, died at age 21. When she became ill, she went to her sister Lola, whose husband, Dr Irvin McDaniel was a doctor, he diagnosed it as typhoid fever. In those early years, there wasn’t much to be done for it. They brought her body back to Maud by train for burial. It was dark before the burial was completed and they had to use lanterns to finish. She was a beautiful, young woman. She was engaged to be married and they buried her in her wedding dress. |

Note from Decendant Janet [White] Ward: Left: Miss Caudle - Right: Miss Inez Lou White They were best friends & planning to become Teachers. Inez died at 21 yrs old, and was buried in her wedding dress. Miss Caudle married and passed away two years after her marriage. |
