Some of Solomon & Elizabeth's children moved to Bowie, in 1846; Jeremiah, Green, Samuel D & Lewis.
Jeremiah's 1st wife was; Sarah White, 2nd; Hester White (dau. of Elias White), 3rd; Abigail Hancock.
Some moved to GA, Manly & Hiram to Bartow Co between 1870/80 & Elijah to Cherokee Co. Several 
remained in Union Co SC until their deaths, Hampton, William, Mary & Robert. Milly Beauford still unk.

Solomon Bobo Sr's Revolutionary War Record

Copied from Original Rev War Claim and Receipt:

"Of Solomon Bobo praying for a Pension, was acted on
Legislation. A Report made by the Committee on
Pensions recommending that he should be placed on the Pension
List and confirmed by the Senate, sent to the House of 
Representatives for consideration was acted on by that
House concurred in and ordered for consideration on tomorrows
Legislation. Having contrary to expectation owed on adjournment
two or three days Earlier that was anticipated, and did do adjourn
the said report was not acted upon.

The same proceedings were had on the petition of
Stephen Neals, and left in the same unfinished state,
they are both very Dependant, aged & Infirm, 
Reported as Faithful Soldiers of the Revolution, of
good Character - which they stated _______?

that I Solomon Bobo Senr. 

of said State & District for and in consideration of the sum
of Eight Three and Three fourths dollars to me in hand paid
by Jesse Briggs B.S. of the State and District aforesaid is
the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged have granted 
bargained Sold and released and by these presents do
grant bargain sell and release unto the said Jesse Briggs 
Part of the tract of land whereon the said Bobo now
lives, Beginning at Joseph Harris stake corner near said
Bobo's Spring Branch then up the various meander of said 
Branch the Spring ?????? about 42 chains to said 
Briggs line - Thence S 75. W 51. to a stake x 3. thence S 32. E 
27.00 to P.O. x3. thence S 61 3/4 E to the beginning it being 33 1/2
acres more or less Bounded on the N. E. by the Bobo's land, on
all other sides by the said Briggs land. Together with all
and Singular the right numbers hereditments and appurtenances  
to the said premises belonging or in any wife incident or appertaining
to have and to hold all and Singular the said premises unto the 
said Jesse Briggs his heirs and assigns forever and I do hereby [bind]
myself my heirs Executors & administrators to warrant and forever defend
all and singular the said premises before mentioned unto 
the said Jesse Briggs his heirs and assigns against myself
& my heir and every person whomsoever lawfully claim-
ing the same or any part thereof.  Witness my hand & Seal

any person or persons whomsoever renounced release and forever 
relinquish unto the within named Jesse Briggs his heirs and
assigns all her interest and  estate and also all her right and claim 
of Dower of in or to all & singular the premises within men-

sever dollars eighty seven and a half cents to me in hand
paid by William Browning have granted bargained sold and 
released and by these presents do grant Bargain sell and release
unto the said William Browning a certain tract or parcel of 
land lying in said district an the Wild Cat Branch waters 
of Enoree River Bounded by lands of my own, Thomas Norman
S. N. Baily and the said Browning Beginning at a Hickory x3
Bailys corner thence running S 61 1/2 W 14.00 to a raock x3 near a 
Spring thence down the meanders of said Spring branch 2.00 to an ash x3 thence S 74 W 4.50 to a PO x3 stump thence N60 W 
18.30 to a Hickory x3 in Brownings field thence N 59 E 27.34 to a

oak corner on Hosea Ray's line formally own by Hosea Holcomb

Notes from Mike:

The 1827 Deed above for Solomon Sr, is behond a doubt his...

The others are probably his son Jr., Elizabeth White Bobo, his wife,
died in 1845, so is not involved in the deeds, Solomon Jr., died on
24 May 1851, all the deeds were made before this time.

The problem is another Solomon Bobo, son to Kindred Bobo Sr., 
born 1799, died 1869 Union Co SC.  

However, a look at the census records clearly indicates all of the families
mentioned in the above deeds were neighbors of Solomon Sr. & Jr. I am
confident these land records belong to our Solomon's.
